About Jeffrey Lane

My maternal Grandfather was stationed at Fort Bliss in about 1958
after serving in the Korean Conflict.  My Father grew up in central
Texas, but got a summer internship at White Sands Missile Range.
So my parents met at Trinity Methodist Church in Downtown El Paso.

My father had a short stint working at the Pentagon in 1969, so I
was born in Fairfax VA.  When I was about age 3 my family moved
back to El Paso where I was raised.

I graduated from Irvin High School and went to Baylor
University where I received a degree in Computer Engineering.
I spent many years working as a computer programmer for several companies at White Sands Missile Range, and then in Irving, TX.
I returned home to El Paso in the year 2000 to care for my ailing father.  While here, I
have been lucky to work in other capacities to 'expand my horizons' in other professions,
including Bookkeeping, Meetings, and Public Speaking.  These experiences, and previous jobs
have led me to understand the need for good leadership in Church and Community.
Therefore, I have exerted my energies toward that goal, and hope to continue as the
State Representative for the district that I live in, and have lived in for many years.

I currently serve in leadership roles in several groups at Trinity-First United Methodist Church.
But I also have a passion for the ideas that the Republican Party stands for.

I thank you for your consideration and your support!
