Welcome to Jeanne's Learning Yurt

Where children of all ages are challenged through movement and creativity.

My goal for classes at the Learning Yurt is to provide a supportive learning community where children can gather to develop strong interpersonal skills while enhancing their creative, neuro-physical, and academic skills. Children learn best when they are having fun, and being at the yurt is fun!!!

Gymnastics

Gymnastics classes are for ages 5 and older and are held at the Homer High School Mat Room and at the HERC Building. Equipment classes are for ages 3 and older and are held on date-specific Saturdays.

Fall/ Winter: September 23 ~ Winter/Spring: January 13

Gymnastics class fees range from $12-$17/class.

*Community Recreation fee ($2/visit) included in all prices.

September 16-December 18 (with a 10 day Nov. break)

January 13, 2020-May 15 (with a two week travel break TBA)

M/T/W & F 10:00-2:45; $35/class

Early Drop-off 9:00 ($10 extra)

(early drop off is for children who have experienced a regular Pre-school day, 10-2:45, for two classes)

Tuesday; Beg.(5-7) Tumbling, 4:00-5:00 at HERC

Wednesday; Int./Adv. Tumbling, 6:00-8:00 at HHS

Saturday; Tumbling & Equipment Classes at HHS:

2019: 10/5; 11/2; 11/23

2020: 1/25 ; Feb TBA; & 3/28; 4/4

Kindergym, 1:00-1:50

Beg./Adv. Beg., 2:00-3:20

Int./Adv., 3:30-5:30

DATES, TIMES & LOCATION MAY CHANGE DUE TO ACTIVITIES AT THE HOMER HIGH SCHOOL.

Mini Workshop Schedule

Specific Workshops and Guest Teachers will be posted in March, prior to workshops

Tuesday - Friday

9-10:30 (ages 4 and older) *

11-12:30 (ages 4 and older)*

*3 year olds attending Yurt Preschool may attend these morning workshops*

12:30-1:30-lunch with children staying for the afternoon.

1:30-3:00 (ages 5 and older)

3:30-5:15-Yurt Time (ages 4 and older)
