Bio
Research officer and team leader in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at the National Research Council of Canada's Digital Technologies research centre.
My research interest is about doing R&D to improve the science, performance and safety of digital human-machine systems. To that end, the focus is on finding the right mix of user interface and learning technologies.
Over time, I applied human factors principles to digital technologies in various fields including forestry, mining, space robotics, museums, media arts, military, law enforcement, and e-learning. This allowed the design, development and evaluation of several proof-of concepts UIs for those fields.
I am particularly interested in intelligent 3D user interfaces made possible by technologies such as virtual/augmented reality and artificial intelligence (AI).
