Steamed Ginger Peaches with Greek Yogurt

This steaming method would work nicely with pears too. I spooned the peach syrup on top of the yogurt which was sweet enough for me.


  • 2 peaches
  • 4 teaspoons crushed jaggery sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, slivered
  • 4 dollops plain So Delicious Greek Style Cultured Coconut Milk Yogurt or 0% Greek Yogurt


  1. Cut peaches in half; remove pit.
  2. Place peach halves in heatproof bowls.
  3. Put one teaspoon jaggery sugar in center of each peach halve. Top with slivered ginger.
  4. Steam over gently simmering water for 20-25 minutes, until peaches are tender but still firm.
  5. Remove peaches from steamer and cool to room temperature. Chill if desired.
  6. Serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt.

Serves 4.
