My experience at the museum was very helpful to find out info on the holocaust there are different things to look at for the information my favorite was the time line there was a bunch of history and interesting facts. There is also a photo gallery to look at pictures and different themes as well. I learned what a propaganda was which it is biased information design to shape public opinion and behavior. The example of the propaganda i found was a soda ad and poster

Response to 9/11 Video

Seeing the film 102 minutes was very shocking to what happen on 9/11. I really didnt know that much information towards 9/11 besdies the fact that it was torrerist attacks. The video was good it showed what was going through people's mind during the attack. It also shows how awful it was to be there in New York that day. The film showed pretty much everyone in the situation as in like firefighters, police, civilians, and etc.

Pepsi Assembly

The pepsi assembly is usually really good throughout the years that I have been attending this school. The assembly happens every two years and they are trying to teach a lesson. The way they teach this lesson is with a lot of technology to present their information. This year they used three big projectors and separated the whole show between those three projectors. They caught your attention with updated music and movie clips that go along with the topic. The way they give this information is through a lot of technology which i think as a teenager is the best way to learn.

What do you think about the plans for commemorating the 10th anniversary of 9/11?  How much is too much?  Who makes that decision?  What feels right?  What feels wrong?  Explain your thoughts.
I think that the commemorating the 10th anniversary is needed to a certain extant. In this article it was saying that all these companies are going to do something for the anniversary but not to much or say to much because they didnt want to hurt anyone or be put on a bad side. I personally dont think these companies need to do all this commemorating for the anniversary I think the twin towers memorial is perfect for the 9/11 victims. The companies make the decicions to make the commemoration. The memorial feels right for the anniversary not the companies making these things for the 10th anniversary like its not a good thing why would you make a wine bottle for the 10th anniversary for example yeah " I want to go drink a bottle of wine on the anniversary" I know the wine companies just wanted to do the wine bottle as a memory thing but i just dont think thats right.

What do you remember most about Chapter 1?  What were you surprised by?  What did you find interesting?  In a couple well developed paragraphs,  you should respond to what you read in Chapter 1.
The most i remember about chapter 1 is the digitil era because thats the subject that im doing for my project. I found out that during the era news was delievered easier by televison. In chapter 1 there was a lot of talk of media lit. There was talk about all the era's and how they changed over time. The chapter was just an overview of all of media lit.

Blog 1.

What are some of the potential dangers of blogging discussed in these texts? Which of these concerns are legitimate? Why or why not? What other dangers are there in blogging that were not discussed in the texts? What should students keep in mind in order to practice responsible blogging? Suggest 2-3 rules you think would be appropriate for the class to follow as part of a blog policy.

1.Some of the potential dangers are that you can get cyberbullied, disrespected, and creeped out by pedifiles.
2. The most concern is sucidedal death from being made fun of on blogs.
3. Well you dont want someone to kill themself becuase of mean blogs.
4. If you give your pass word to someone and they share it with someone else they can log in as you and say things you dont want to be said.
5. The should keep in mind the safety reasons and just be mature about the whole thing,
6. Some rules that would be appropiate is no fowl language and be resopectful to other class mates.

Blog Regards

My regards on this last assignment are that i liked the topic because i think the cyperbullying and safety for blogging is interesting. I like how the assignment was best on real news articles. The first article was better with information than the second.
The questions were good questions for the topic and easy to understand. The question also went along with the topic of blogging. Im not much of a blogger i usually just get on facebook or twitter.
Im guessing blogging is just like twitter and now that i have read all the safety issues with blogging but if you have facebook or twitter it is pretty much just common sense. Their are those people who say those uneeded comments in social networks but after i read these articles im not going to do it. I also know not to put up any pictures that will jeporize my life later on like with a job and make a status that is messed up.
