Well you see i think that propoganda was apart of the holocaust and was terrible. But in many was propoganda has been a good part of the world news. We used it in ww2 and we still use it today but in many way. This website really focused on the holocaust and it was never a good thing in our history. so many people who shouldnt have died did. So i learned about some kids that were in camps and the pictures were tragic. Something no human should have to go threw.

there are many saftys that we dont follow when we use social networking. well there are some creepy weird people out there in the world that try to hurt people. thats a huge problem that is very serious and is very dangerous. the next thing is bullying, now we have rules in school against bullying online. we can fight all we want with this but the people around us are just trying to protect us.

Reaction to survey

posted Oct 7, 2011, 6:23 AM by Mitch Smith

Going threw this survey here are some noticable trends that i saw everywhere. People have greatly changed on how they were getting there news, in todays world everyone is using the internet. Its so much faster than the paper. It also seems that everyone listens to the radio daily or multiply times a day. thats another great way of hearing news. In todays world its not who owns a phone, its who doesnt own a phone. Most of the people have texting and internet on them, so again very easy to communicate and follow up with the worlds latest drama.

Chapter 1 Mass Communication: A Critical Approach

The media world has a role in everyones day to day living.  The way most of us get the media today is from a newspaper, tv, radio and what most of us use which is our phones. Just like today everybody was talking about the vma's last night and what was going on. From page 14 from the packet it really goes into great detail about how the media and the media world reaches out for us. On page 15 there is a pie chart on how we get our news but even only 20 years ago that greatly came to change with the internet.

The culture as a skyscraper doesnt make much sense to me. From our high school point of view who honestly thinks that i would actually sit down and read the book hamlet over jersey shore or go turn on some lil' wayne. This skyscraper was probably put together by some guy up in a big building that has never discovered MTV, or he just doesnt understand the way that we work as kids.
