I thought this wed site was very well made. it is a large website so there is alot of information. I learned that the heads of newspapaers and radio shows that used propaganda aginst the jews were later charged with crimes against hummanity. So of them even got life in prison. I like how the showed you actual examples of propaganda. There wasn't much i didn't like. I find the WWII interesting. This was a very informational website. I was a fan.

PEPSI Assembly

I thought the pepsi assembly had a good message but i didn't like anything about it. why is everyone trying to give us pop culture with a message its stupid. tone it down and give us the facts. I don't remember the stories because the music and the host were so bad. I don't like the stories. I understand texting and driving is bad. Everyone knows it. i felt that all the pepsi assembly just told me these things were bad with flashy lights and "cool" music. It didn't make me think. It was mindless and a waste of my time.

I think it is worng for all these compaines trying to exploit 9/11. if the company is making money off something they do for 9/11 than its exploition. People sould be remembering 9/11, not making wines for it. I think that this is worng. People should just donate out of the kindness of there heart not because they want to make a buck. Thats why we should remeber 9/11, hold ceramonies, memoriaols, and non-for profit fund raisers.

Chpt. 1

Chapter one taught me alot and kind of poened me up to some new ideas. Like i never thought how important the tellagraph was until now. It was the first communication device that you could sent instant messages. I also found it intresting that high culture is really suffering. This is kind of sad to me that people are choosing garbage over intellagent art. There was also this chart of a map that was really confusing so i didn't really understand it. That packet seemed they took media alittle to seriously.

Blogging Wrong

As technology and the internet advance it is becoming a larger part of schools. As these thing get bigger and better some problems start to present like predators, bulling, and identy theift. The main concerns for schools is the bulling and child predators. Bulling is a large problem in schools and now that we have add the internet this could become an even larger problem unless teachers, students, and parents are all on the same page. Bulling is a problem on networking sites but on blogs i feel its more of an issue to not disclose personal info. Predators are the other half of the battle. There are people out there that patrol the internet look to hurt children. So parents and teens need to be educated about how to avoid and protect yourself from these people.
Students should be aware for predators and be weary of anyone online. Some ground rules should be never give out personal info. Keep in mind that everyone can see what you post, so if you say something mean you need to relize that everyone can see it. The last rule should be never post inaprorat pictures.
