the basics of mass communictaion is the begining of chatper 1. technology is a big part of todays means of communication and among other things is it also a big topic of bullying through sites like face twitter ect. However most people have enough sense in them to not shoot people down the postives of technology can greaty help other and even possibly solve a few world proplems. i believe that sometimes its the users responsiblity to watch what they say. for as long as technoloyg will be around bullying will to but it will change in small ways like form site to site. in chatper one you learn about the basics of mass communitcation and the benifets and negitives of this technology. at one time the printing press was conciterd high tech but now its just another machine in our daily lives, now we have ipads iphones and ipods ( i dont think just putting a i in front of every word makes it better by no means ). we have maps like never before like google earth were you can look everywere whenever you want to, we have social networking sites that let us stay in touch with family, friends, and places that we have been to. we got the little phones that can call anywere, that can get on the internet and do everything that a full sized computer can do and still fit in your pochet. but to me it still amazes me that people will not put the phone down to have a conversation. you know theres a time and a place for everything but the movie theator is not a place for texting. [is it just me or am i just ranting on] mass communication is just any thing that lets you communicate any idea or thoughs to anyone via any means.
