I think that it is good that people have recorded this event, as long as they were safe from the towers. I think it is good that we have first hand accounts of what happened because now we know at least a little how the people of New York reacted to this event. It is sad that the towers were hit, but this is one of the ways we can remember what happened. It was interesting that one recorder video taped one of the groups of fireman that never came out of the tower. If they had not video taped that, we wouldn't have known who they were.
The college students were also interesting to watch. I can't imagine how horrifying it would've been to be without your family and watch the towers be hit from your dorm room. I would've probably been just as terrified as they were if I was in there shoes.
What was also interesting was the smoke. The recordings of a huge smoke cloud engulfing the whole city was breath-taking. It was horrifying to watch, and if the people hadn't video taped it, we probably couldn't even imagine how terrifying that could have been as well.
