Blogging Responsibly

What are some of the potential dangers of blogging discussed in these texts?
In the text they talked about many things that can be dangerous about blogging.  One thing that they warned about was not to give out a lot of information online because of the threat of predators.  You never know who exactly your talking to online.  The second thing that they talked about was cyber bullying. This can cause major emotional damage to people being bullied.  For example in the text a person being bullied online committed suicide.

Which of these concerns are legitimate? Why or why not?
I think that all of these concerns are legitimate because your hear stories on the news of these things happening all the time.

What other dangers are there in blogging that were not discussed in the texts?
I personally think that the text covered all the major issues about blogging.  I can't think of anymore things to be worried about.

What should students keep in mind in order to practice responsible blogging?
I would say to keep in mind the feelings of others because you never know how much of an impact it will have on them

Suggest 2-3 rules you think would be appropriate for the class to follow as part of a blog policy.
The first rule i would have for the class is treat others with respect.  The second rule i would have is that no one give out personal information for their own safety.
