Descendants of James Dickinson Bradley

The Ancestry of James Dickinson Bradley is still a mystery.  He  is  sometimes reported to have been a son of Joseph and Mirrium (Currier) Bradley, however, that James Bradley was born in October and married Lucinda Stevens.

The first recorded information is from the 1820 U.S.  Federal Census and he was living in Camillus, Onondaga Co., NY. where I believe  he married and had his first son (Ira D.).  By 1830, the family was in Whitestown, Oneida Co., N.Y. where all but the last child was born.

From The Family Record of the Descendants of JAMES D. and TIRZAH BRADLEY which was a small reunion booklet compiled by Lena M Bradley Phillips in 1930...

"About the year 1840, soon after Michigan entered the union, James D. and his family migrated to that state by means of ox team and wagon and  settled in Kalamo Township, Eaton County, taking up the unbroken wilderness land from the government. This farm was handed down to Truman, the  youngest of the sons, and at the time this is written this fine homestead is in the possession of Verner Bradley, the grandson of the original settler. "
