John receives a Thieme Chemistry Journal Award for 2016

posted Dec 1, 2015, 3:56 PM by John Jewett

Thank you to the boards of Synlett, Synthesis, and Synfacts for naming John as one of the "Thieme Chemistry Journal Awardees" in 2016.

Obviously this type of thing is not possible without a great team of graduate students who perform the experiments and bring projects from crazy idea to published science. I will take this as a team 'win.'

Congrats to Jie and Flora!

Flora's paper was accepted in Angewandte! A few edits and it will be ready for prime time. A great way to start the new year. Much more exciting chemistry to come this year!

UPDATE: the paper is up online and designated a "Hot Paper." Please see the Publications page.
