I am currently an Assistant Professor and Director of the Center for Economic Research at Escuela Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I obtained my PhD from Texas A&M University (College Station, 2015).

My main research focuses on the study of incentives and economic behavior under different policies and institutional arrangements.  I am interested in combining evidence from laboratory and field experiments to inform observational and applied studies in diverse topics in economic development.
