About Me

I am currently a Cybersecurity Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, Australia. Prior, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand from 2016 to 2018, where I also have received my PhD degree in Apr 2015.


  1. (14/01/2020) My paper titled "A Framework for Real-Time Intrusion Response in Software Defined Networking using Precomputed Graphical Security Models" has been accepted for publication in Security and Communication Networks!


My research is in cybersecurity. This includes (but are not limited to):
  • Security modelling and analysis of emerging computers and networks (cloud, IoT, SDN, CPS etc.)
  • Adaptive and intelligent security solutions (MTD, Deep Learning, Big Data etc.)
  • Developing secure software development practices (SDL, security in agile etc.)
  • Security education for enterprises and individuals (pedagogy, HCI etc.)
  • Cybersecurity and justice (Cybercrime, data sovereignty etc.)
