Interests: I study infrastructure in the developed and developing world, including energy and building systems, but also transportation, water, and sanitation systems. In my work, I use embedded and mobile devices, machine learning, and controls.

Currently: Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

Previously: Research Scientist at IBM Research - Africa in Nairobi, Kenya (2013-2016)

Past: I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2013, advised by David Culler.
