Mindfulness and Meditation

For 35 years I have been teaching meditation, based on developing mindfulness and states of positive emotion, encouraging people to regularly practice meditation as a way of making their life more enjoyable and meaningful. 
At present I do this within the context of the Triratna Buddhist Community, helping to run activities at the Shrewsbury Buddhist Centre. You can see details of this at 

I believe that studying Buddhism and practicing the Buddha's teachings offers everyone a path to greater self-understanding and contentment. As a non-theistic religion it places a responsibility on each person to take control of their own life as much as possible, and gives the techniques to make this possible.
