Professionally, Jason Weigand works as a sports officiator for high school and college sporting events. Particularly, Weigand is involved in officiating with the East Coast Football Officials Association (ECFOA) as well as the Division 1-AA college level teams in the NEC. As a sports officiator, Jason Weigand needs to remain physically fit in order to succeed at his job. He must be able to run up and down the field, keeping up with the players in order to make the right calls. At each football game that Jason Weigand officiates at, he averages three to four miles of running, walking or jogging. Staying on your feet and moving around on the job is a satisfying experience for Jason that he prefers rather than sitting down all day at a desk. 

Personal Fitness

Beyond his professional career, Jason Weigand also works on his fitness in his everyday life. Jason enjoys playing recreational sports whether in a league or in the backyard with his kids. Sports are a great way to stay fit, have fun, and maintain a sense of friendly competition.
