I'm the George F. Bennett Associate Professor of Economics at Wheaton College. I'm an economic historian with particular interest in social mobility and migration. I focus on Britain and the U.S. in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. I teach courses on the historical origins of economic growth and the evolution of the global economy, and introductions to macroeconomics and game theory.
