Hallmark movie of the week "Curveball"

Just wrapped on the Hallmark movie of the week Curveball, playing Brandon, Lacey Chabert's character's brother. A lovely story that takes place in the backdrop of Vermon. Interestingly I am playing along side Fiona Vroom whom I just worked with in "Psycho Wedding Crasher" as well as "Death of a Vegas Showgirl". Three shows in a row getting to work with the talented Fiona Vroom.

Zoo, Imaginary Mary, Death of a Vegas Showgirl

Booked a little role in the pilot for Imaginary Mary playing Mary's father in a flashback scene. Was a very simple day on set. Show reminds me of the 80's series Alf, should be a good show, and I notice it got picked up for a season.

Just prepping for a lead in a movie of the week for lifetime called "Death of a Vegas Showgirl". A dark true story about, well you can probably guess from the title.

And you know the saying "There are no small parts" when it comes to booking roles; well I got to experience that first hand with the CBS show Zoo. I was very happy to book a single episode, small role as a sergeant informing General Davis of a few minor things during the episode. Well there is a similar character in another episode that they decided to bring me back for, and working with the great Peter Outerbridge, he decided that my character should have an actual name in the show. So to start the scene Peter added in "At ease Seargent Mansdale". Low and behold, my agent gets a call requesting me for yet another episode as "Seargeant Mansdale" and it now looks like I am a full on character in the show. Small role that has turned into something that was always a dream of mine. Just so very very grateful to Clark and Page casting in Vancouver for brining me in for the role to begin with, and for the producers and writers of Zoo, and for Peter for taking the initiative to give my character a name and thus give him life!

It's been a fantastic year so far!

Garage Sale Mystery and more When Calls the Heart for Hallmark

Haven't updated the old blog in a while as the 2016 Pilot season proved to be exceptionally busy!

Was back on When Calls the Heart as Dr. Burns for another appearance in Season 3. Was pleased to land a role in Hallmark's Garage Sale Mystery being directed by Norma Bailey starring When Calls the Heart's Lori Loughlin! Great to work with the talented Mrs. Loughlin once again. She is a fantastic, hard working and talented actress and I have to say she looks simply stunning in person and is simply a wonderful person to work with as well.

Was a blast to get to work with Fargo Season 1's Kevin O'Grady as well. "Woa there Big Fella"

When Calls the Heart

A long time in the making; I finally am on set of When Calls the Heart. Back in 2006 I worked on the show in Calgary when Michael Landon Jr was directing. That production (a MOW at the time) didn't get completed and the series got picked up years later in Vancouver. I was lucky enough to be on hold and book a couple roles on the show but unfortunately had scheduling conflicts so wasn't able to work on them until now.

Feeling very blessed to be playing Dr. Burns from Union City on this fantastic show. Really wonderful cast and crew and a pleasure to work with director Neil Fearnley.

Back on set for Delmer and Marta

Happy to be back on set for the last block of Delmer and Marta being directed by the great Michael Kennedy and starring Heartland's Shaun Johnston and Kids in the Hall's Kevin McDonald.

The writing and characters have really evolved and we have a heck of a good little family time slot comedy show which I am really proud to be a part of! Keep your eyes open for this one.

Cradle of Lies

Busy couple of weeks on set of Cradle of Lies starring the fabulous and lovely Nichole De Boer and Lochlyn Munro. Directed by the wonderful director David Winning whom I had the pleasure of working with on the SyFy channel movie of the week Mutant World, which was released on DVD by Sony Entertainment this week.

Playing a lead role of earnest / intrepid reporter Ethan Fox. Love this cast.
