Until the end of April, sixth hour students will work on a creative writing piece-- either a character sketch or a personal narrative. After creating a rough draft of each, students will choose which draft to polish for a final writing grade for the year.
In May, students will study interpersonal communication including perception and cross cultural and nonverbal communication.
Students in hours 1 and 2 will wrap up April with the completion of To Kill a Mockingbird. Sophomores will end the year studying interpersonal communication topics such as perception and cross-cultural and nonverbal communication.
Students are studying concepts about makeup, sets, acting, and lighting. The semester will end with a dance performance for Fun in the Sun Day.
The year for Honors will end with a look at Beowulf, Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, Dante's Inferno, and Greek mythology.
