About the artists:
  1. Shohreh Solati is a famous Iranian popstar, with a career spanning decades. Her breakout song was her hit "Dokhtare Mashreghi" (Eastern Girl).
  2. Ahllam is a new artist on the Iranian music scene, and shows a lot of promise.
  3. Sami Beigi is the Justin Timberlake of modern Iranian music. He became famous by singing with the Black Cats and then his solo career took off with songs like "In Eshghe" (This is love), "HMG" (Ham-Ahang: Same melody), and "Ey Joonam" (Oh, my love)
  4. Prestij is an electronic group with very modern sounds.
  5. 25Band is made of a husband and wife duo from Mashhad, featuring rap and powerful singing vocals. Their breakout hit was "Vaghte Parvaaze" (It's time to fly).
  6. Shahab Tiam is known for making songs with uptempo beats and fun Iranian dance songs.
  7. Kamy R is known for his powerful and amazing voice, and has worked extensively with famous Iranian popstars, for example for the PACI group (Persian American Cancer Institute).
  8. Helen brings an interesting sound to the table, with her rock-style song; rock is not very common in mainstream Iranian music.
  9. Hengameh has been around for a couple of decades. Her hit song "Baraye Didane To" (In order to see you) is still a favourite of Iranians.
  10. Barad is new and experimental with his dance/pop style.
