I am head of the Experimental Psychology Research Group at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology, HUN-REN Research Centre for Natural Sciences in Budapest, Hungary. I also work at the Institute of Psychology at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. This site provides information on my research interests.
In everyday life, we continuously manipulate objects and interact with the environment: We look for stimuli relevant to our goals, we plan and perform actions to reach these goals, and anticipate the actions’ immediate and distant consequences. My research focuses on how the interaction with the environment shapes perception and action.
