JA provides volunteers with the necessary training and materials prior to entering the classroom.
The volunteer's job is to:
• Facilitate the prepared lessons
• Share your education and professional experience
• Inspire young people to stay in school and prepare for a life of success!
Traditional programs will be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates/times between the teacher and the volunteer within the times provided by the teacher. Typically taught with one session per week.
JA Day opportunities are a one-day commitment for a specific time period.
