Welcome to my homepage!
I am an Economist working at the European Central Bank and I received my PhD in 2012 from the Economics Department of the European University Institute in Florence. During the first half of 2017 I worked on a temporary secondment at the European Systemic Risk Board. The purpose of this website is to provide information about my research projects as well as on my academic background.
My main research interests are in the fields of Macroprudential Policy, Growth-at-risk applications, and Early Warning Models for Financial Crises. In addition, I am interested in Quantitative Macroeconomics and Uncertainty Shocks.
My PhD supervisors at the European University Institute were Russell Cooper and Árpád Ábrahám. During spring 2011 I was a visiting student of Nick Bloom at Stanford University.
