Welcome Prof. Jang-Seu Ki Laboratory

Prof. Jang-Seu Ki Lab has studying on molecular and biotechnological researches of aquatic organisms, particularly including microalgae and invertebrates.

Our reserches are divided 4 sections: 1) molecular biology and genomics of algae, 2) toxicogenomics using microalgae, 3) phylogenetics using nuclear rDNA, chloroplast, mitochondrial genes and protein coding genes, and 4) metagenomic algal diversity using pyrosequencing.

We will do gene cloning of microalgae functional genes and their gene expression experiments using real-time PCR, NGS techniques, or microarrayas, as well as manuscript preparations.
