Jane Austen's Life & Works in Google Earth

This is a list of the locations included in my Google Earth Layer dedicated to the life and works of Jane Austen. Each location placemark includes information on its association with Austen along with images and as relevant, quotations from her letters and writings. There is also a section with the locations used in filming many of the adaptations of the novels. To view this layer, you need to have Google Earth installed. You can download it from here.

This section includes the primary filming locations for hearly all of the major film and television adaptations of Jane Austen's books, beginning with the BBC's Persuasion 1 from 1971. Note that the 2007 version of Northanger Abbey is not included because the locations in Ireland where the film was shot are not yet clearly viewable in Google Earth.
