Musicians Bios

 Jimmy Chandler
Jimmy is a well known and highly sought after guitar soloist specializing in classical guitar, jazz harmonization and improvisation.  He attended Cal State University in Hayward, California and received a Masters Degree in Guitar Performance from the University of Montevallo.

Jimmy began his teaching career at Jacksonville University and has since accumulated over 25 years experience in guitar instruction.  Jimmy performed at The Cloister (world-renowned Georgia Hotel) and was also the staff guitarist for the Ritz-Carlton at Amelia Island, Florida.  He is a member of the Guitar Foundation of America, American String Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association.  Jimmy has hosted several classical guitar concerts, concert series and Master classes throughout the southeastern United States.  He has conducted numerous workshops and was featured at the Regional Mental Health Association Conference as a Guest Lecturer on the “Therapeutic Use of the Guitar”.

Jimmy’s unique style and sound gives testimony to why he is featured in guitar quartets, duos, and as a soloist throughout the southeastern United States.  He is currently performing here in the Emerald Coast area.

Inga Girard

Inga is a highly acclaimed professional violinist who  relocated to Florida's Emerald Coast from St. Clair, Michigan in 2007. She is known for her elegant sounds, solo and ensemble performances, and outstanding ability to play a wide variety of music and styles.  Before permanently relocating to Florida, Inga spent her winters in Destin and played with the Philharmonic of Northwest Florida.

Inga began playing the violin at the tender age of four under the tutelage of her parents who came to the United States from Germany and founded the Richter Conservatory of Music. She continued to study and play the violin throughout her years as a student until she graduated from Wayne State University with a Masters Degree in Music.  After graduation, Inga began her music career attaining the position of associate concertmaster in several community orchestras within the Detroit Metropolitan area including the Port Huron/Sarnia International Symphony Orchestra.  She regularly performed as soloist for several Detroit area venues and was featured in various ensemble groups including the Brio Trio.  Her highly successful career in music also includes 15 years of string music instruction as well as organizing and directing multiple youth orchestras in the Detroit area.

In addition to her solo performances, Inga often performs with ensembles including local duos, trios, and quartets at weddings, receptions, restaurants, private homes, church functions, memorial services and other special events.
