Bahn Bread

BAHN BREAD   ( Fat Free) or it is until you slice and butter it if you're naughty!!! :-))



1 packet dried fruit 500g
 i use luxury mix which has apricot,pineapple,cherry and peel in.mix with
 1 mug hot black tea +
 1 mug brown sugar , i like muscovado.
Leave to soak over night. Next day add 1 mug SR flour , you may need a tad extra if too gloopy, and
 two beaten eggs. mix well.
Turn into a greased and floured loaf tin, bake 160c Gas mark 3 gently for approx 1 and 1/2 hours.Watch it carefully though as this is approximate times.
This is a nice fruit bread for gifting, wrapped in greaseproof paper ,then muslin and raffia string with a pretty label and so easy to make.
