I have always been intrigued by radiographic (X-Ray) imaging. Though few people realize how widespread the use of X-Ray imaging is outside of medical and dental settings, radiographic imaging is an incredibly valuable tool in a wide variety of industries - including (you guessed it!) - electronics.
I was overjoyed when the manufacturing division of the company I work for acquired a Dage XD7500VR XiDat digital X-Ray microscope system. Though the machine is generally used for more productive tasks, I was fortunate enough to be able to take a few X-Rays of common electronic components and put together a Flickr album for all the world to see.
Some day I'll get around to transferring those photos here directly, but for now here's the link.
