At some point in the near future I am hoping to put together a few "Introduction to Altium" videos for those just learning to use the software.
For those not familiar, Altium is a very power EDA (Electronic Design Automation) suite that handles such tasks as schematic capture, PCB layout, FPGA design, 3D modeling, and a whole host of other features. Over the past decade I've used a fair number of different EDA suites (ExpressPCB, CircuitMaker, EagleCAD, EDWinXP (*shudder*), etc) but none of them even come close to matching the power of Altium.
I am planning on doing a "from the ground up" tutorial for those who have, perhaps, never used a CAD program before, or are used to something completely different such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
I will post the links to the videos (which I plan to put on YouTube) once they're done.
