Teaching Experience 

Jamie is currently the jazz trumpet instructor at El Camino College, in Torrance, CA.

Jamie has been a clinician and featured guest artist at the Fullerton College Jazz Festival in Fullerton, CA, and the guest artist for Riverside College's "Tribute to Maynard Ferguson" in Riverside, CA. Jamie is also a substitute jazz teacher at the Colburn School of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles.

Through a Teaching Fellowship while attending the University of North Texas, Jamie taught classes in improvisation, jazz theory, and directed the Six O'clock Lab Band. Specific duties included:

Before attending UNT Jamie worked alongside Quincy Jones for the American Music Festival at Sorbonne University, Paris, France.
