We would like to wish all our members and supporters a Happy New Year and the very best for 2019!!!

Looking for a New Year’s Resolution for 2019? Why not get Involved!

We are always looking and welcoming new members to get involved in, it doesn’t have to be playing or coaching Gaelic games, if you can spare an hour a week, a month or every 6 months we would be delighted to have you involved. Joining your local GAA club is a great way of giving something back to your community as well as making new friends and learning new and developing new skills.

Ways to get involved:

o We have juvenile teams playing football, hurling & camogie across ages from 4 to 18, we welcome new kids to play all year round, a great way to make lifelong friends in a fun, safe environment. See our team Information Page to find more details on the team that suits you.

o We have 5 different adult teams to accommodate experienced players as well as those looking to try a new sport in a fun social environment. This includes a social Hurling team and Gaelic4Mothers team for those who have never played or not in years! Games and training all year round, all just 4 fun!

o If you’re interested in becoming a coach or helping out on the pitch, we ensure you will get all the training and support you need ranging from how to make sport as fun as possible to all serious important areas such as safeguarding and best practices.

o Rather a more off pitch environment? Perfect! we have a fundraising committee, take part in all community events, help running tea/coffee stands, support local charities. We have more creative areas to get involved in too, whether its arty making flags and banners to helping with manual work improving our facilities at Drimnagh Castle & Iveagh Grounds

Have any other ideas, we’d love to hear from you so make sure you get in touch, message our Facebook page or call Ross on 0877928742
