Alex Parker is a principal investigator in the Department of Neuroscience at the Centre de Recherche, CHUM, University of Montreal.

Prior appointments include a Jeune Chercheur/Young Researcher post with Inserm in the Laboratory of Neuronal Cell Pathology and Physiology, Inserm U857 in Paris, France and postdoctoral training at the CEPH, Paris France.
