1. Get a gmail ID (you could use ID@g.skku.edu which is also provided to the SKKU students).

2. Go to the lab drive to check the information for the new members.

3. Complete the safety training class (http://safety.skku.edu) within 2 weeks of your arrival.

4. Before doing any experiments in the lab, please contact the lab safety officer.

5. When you plan any experiments using any instruments, please contact the managing person of the instrument, read the operating protocol document, and follow the rules.

• First, introduce the background of your research in detail with previous literature.

• Explain the hypothesis & purpose of your research

• Show important experimental data

• Conclude with the summary and future plans.

(2) Journal club:1 paper related to our research area (high impact, recent publication)

• Why the subject is important (background in detail)

• What has been done in the corresponding subjects (review of previous works)

• New aspects different from previous reports (what is new here?)

• Results (pick up important figure)

• Your opinion on how we can connect with your project
