Classeur 12.0 is a CRM application for Small Businesses or for Personal use.

You can use it to capture relational information about Companies, Individuals, Products, Locations, Customers, Invoices, Projects, Issues, Documents, etc.., with unlimited nested hierarchies..

It is developed with Microsoft Access database application, fully normalised and tested with concurrent multi-user scenario, with custom locking handling when several users are accessing the same data

Product Requirements

· Classeur 12.0 runs in the Windows Operating System environment, tested on XP, Vista and Windows 7 versions.

· Classeur 12.0 requires the Microsoft Access application, 2003 or later versoins, part of the Microsoft Office professional suite of products, or any of the Microsoft Access Runtime: version 2003 (or the later versions, which can be downloaded freely from the Microsoft web site, found at: (2007) http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=4438 or (2010) http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=10910 ). Please make sure that either of these is installed, noting that the full Microsoft Access product, offers more features compared to the Runtime, but these are not required to make full benefit of the application.

· Classeur 12.0 contains a small set of fictitious sample data, to demonstrate the application usage: running tree views, reports, interlinking between the various modules, etc..

Key features of the application

· Simple navigation from a floating main menu of the application; this is a floating window, that stays on top of other windows and contains button links to the various key modules of the application. Modules are Forms in the shape of windows that have the normal Microsoft Windows behaviour and where various information is managed. Information between modules is hyperlinked, clicking or Double-Clicking a piece of information in one module, will automatically finds it and brings it up in the source module, where the info was defined.

· Relational and fully normalised: information changed in one location only, and automatically updated wherever used

o Also Hierarchical information, with unlimited nested levels, for the key Objects in the application.

o Tree views of the hierarchy, with multi-select and multi drag and drop actions from the Tree

· User friendly graphical interface, with simple data entry via typing with auto-matching of existing values or via drop down selection list. Messages and visual cues for all data rules.

· Capture Company details, Department details, Individuals details, all interlinked with hierarchical options for Branches, Managers, etc..

· Capture Location details, with hierarchical options for Location containing other Locations; interlinked to the other modules such as Products at location, companies, etc..

· Capture Product details, with hierarchical options for Product content; interlinked to the other modules, such as Locations, etc..Define any type of Product via a generic Goods module or use specific product modules such as Software, Hardware, etc..

o Capture Product Instances, where warranted, with serial numbers, etc..for Goods that need unique identification for each produced Goods, such as Cars as opposed to Chairs where Model Number or Barcode will suffice

· Capture Sales, Orders, with automatic Inventory updates across Goods, Goods Instances and Locations, interlinked to the other modules. Simple quick sale Order, or extensive detailed Orders

· Promotion campaign via Discounts and associated expiry dates, automatically picked up in Orders.

· Multi-currency with auto-conversion for currency and several other custom units, interlinked to wherever used. User can add new Units and define custom conversion.

· Capture statistics on Sales, broken with Time Period Comparisons and Coverage areas and any other user choice for key areas.

· Capture Projects information, include member details in a hierarchy; instantly report on Project structure with a tree view; interlinked to the other modules such as companies, individuals, Topics, etc..

· Capture Topics or Issues information, interlinked to the other modules, such as Issues assigned to Product, Individual, specific Project, etc..

· Capture multiple Documents or Folders, separately, for any record entry.

· Centralised extensive Type definition for a multitude of objects: Type of Company, Type of Location, Category Type, Status Type, etc..from one simple Type module, interlinked to wherever Type is used. Changing the definition with one double-Click, automatically updates it wherever used
