PhD student position in avian resilience to disturbance

I'm currently looking for an avid and motivated birder to conduct a field study on resilience of avian communities in Texas grasslands to disturbance.  The project will involve developing a biodiversity monitoring protocol, collecting and analyzing MAPS data, mist netting, and blood/feather sampling.  Experience with some or all of these activities is preferred, and excellent avian identification skills are required.

If you're interested in the position, e-mail me (jkgrace at TAMU.edu) a CV, cover letter/statement of interest, GRE scores (if available), and unofficial transcript.  The start date is flexible, but ideally beginning in mid-Spring 2018.
