About Me

I am Jacoby Brissett born in Bell Glade, but raised in Palm Beach, Florida. I was born on December 11, 1992, currently 19 years old. I was raised by my mother, Lisa Brown, and grew up with two brothers and two sisters. I was a high school standout at William T. Dwyer High school for basketball and football, where my teams won state championships in both sports. I was inducted into Palm Beach County's hall of fame for student-athletes. Additionally, I was named high school player of the year in south Florida.
I currently attend University of Florida and play for the Gator football team. My major is telecommunications. My goal is to obtain a job as a sports analyst, where I could use my knowledge of the game. Throughout high school I took a four year course in TV, where I practiced communicating on camera and getting the feel of live action. This sparked my interest in being a sports analyst because of my love for sport and my comfort level being on camera talking. I have expanded on this in college by pushing towards the telecommunications field with classes that will help, such as public speaking and history of television. Some of the analysts I admire are Chris Boomer and Erin Andrews (also a University of Florida graduate). Some of the speakers I admire are Barrack Obama and Martin Luther King, Jr. I hope to obtain features from each of these persons will better my tools of being a sports analyst.
In my spare time I like to watch movies and spend time with friends and family.
