MIcro Simulation Tool (MIST) using Python:
  • Short Description: This is a modeling framework for the supports micro-simulation in High Performance Computing (HPC) environment. MIST runs over the cloud! It is a split from the IEST system focusing on simulation and oriented towards disease modeling. This software is available under  GNU General Public License (GNU GPL). The Reference Model for disease progression uses this software for simulation. This software is based on the Python programming language and several other freely available tools. Please consult the Readme file for installation instructions. The software can be found in the GitHub project web site below. The Indirect Estimation and Simulation Tool (IEST) using Python:
  • Short Description: This is a modeling framework for chronic disease models. This software is available under  GNU General Public License (GNU GPL). The Reference Model for disease progression was first created using this software. Older versions of this software and related material can be found in the MDTRC web site. This software is based on the Python programming language and several other freely available tools. Please consult the Readme file for installation instructions. Additional documentation is available in the zip archive at the user level and at the developer level. The link below is for the latest version I developed.

The BIM project Visual C++ code:
  • Short Description: The BIM software registers point clouds to CAD models. It includes automatic registration algorithms. It is useful in cases where complex shapes are inspected by laser scanners. Sample cloud points and models are provided with the software. The BIM software was developed at the NSF Engineering Research Center for Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems (ERC/RMS) at the University of Michigan. This is the version from 20 November 2005. The development team at the time was: Xinju Li, Igor Guskov, Geoffrey W. Blake and myself. This is a non commercial release of the source code. For questions regarding possible commercial use please contact Prof. Yoram Koren. Please read the License.txt file for further details. Several sample point clouds and models are provided with the code. The source code is provided without executables. You will need Microsoft Visual Studio with MFC to compile this code.

The NN (Neural Network) Visual C++ code:
  • Short Description: This is code was written as part of the Ph.D. thesis. The code implements several types of self organizing Neural Networks for the purpose of reconstructing meshes from point clouds. Some point cloud samples are provided in the samples directory.The software was developed at the CAD Lab at the Technion. This is a non commercial release of the source code. For questions regarding possible commercial use please contact the Technion Industry Liaison OfficePlease read the License.txt file for further details. Several sample point clouds and models are provided with the code. The source code is provided without executables. You will need Microsoft Visual Studio with MFC to compile this code.
