About Us In 1991 a small group of concerned citizens began to meet to establish a historical society and museum. Their purpose was to share the history of our Moose River Valley with the local population and visitors. Their spirit and drive lives on, as does their purpose. Society members meet on a monthly basis to discuss new ways to share our history, and how best to preserve it. Our museum is thriving, and the founders of our historical society would be happy to know that their original goal still lives today. The Museum is open from mid-May to mid-October Friday, Saturday, and Sunday usually 12 Noon to 4 PM Admission is free; donations are welcome!
