(This recipe is a favorite from Jane's friend, Marie)

1 lb. Ground Beef

½ cup chopped onions

½ cup chopped green peppers

2 cloves garlic (chopped)

1 can chili beans

1 qt. tomatoes

2 T chilli powder

3 dashes tabasco sauce

1 t. cummin

2 t. sugar

1 bay leaf

salt to taste

Brown ground beef together with onions and peppers. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for at least 1 hour (the longer it cooks the better it gets).
