| About Dr. James A. Barnes, Jr.
Dr. James A. Barnes, Jr. has always had
an interest for solving problems and thinking of ways to make situations
better. It comes to no surprise the
career path that he has chosen involves teaching and learning which he enjoys. Dr. Barnes has earned several degrees from
Wayne State University. Dr. Barnes was employed with Detroit Public
Schools District for over 20 years. Dr. Barnes has taught computers and mathematics during those years. In this capacity, Dr. Barnes has been a
strong resource to students providing interactive lessons along with technology
integration. Also, he demonstrated and
supported his staff and administration with strategies to implement and
integrate various technologies into their classrooms. Dr. Barnes completed his doctoral program in Instructional Design and Technology from The University of Memphis to further design and develop innovative instructional programs and motivate
learners. Dr. Barnes is currently developing instructor-led and web-based training for engineers. Also, Dr. Barnes is delivering instruction, speaking, and mentoring to future instructional designers.
