IWGGMS7 May 16-18th 2011, Swann Building at King's Buildings, Edinburgh UK

The seventh International Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Measurements from Space (IWGGMS-7) will take place on May 16-18 2011 at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.

The goal of this workshop is to present:

1) the latest science and technologies in spaceborne measurement of greenhouse gases

2) new scientific findings obtained from current missions (e.g., GOSAT, AIRS, SCIAMACHY, TES, and IASI)

3) concepts for the next-generation remote-sensing missions which are under preparation.

Research topics that are central to successful remote sensing, including instrument calibration, data retrieval algorithm development, and data validation, will be covered in the program.

The meeting will take the format of oral and poster presentations.
