Karishma Shah

Karishma Shah was listed on Forbes' 30 Under 30 Consumer Technology 2016 list. She was Google [x]’s youngest hire, brought on at the age of 21. As program manager of the Rapid Evaluation team, she has been a critical early team member cracking operational challenges for over five new moonshots at Google [x]. Her contributions include cofounding a natural language processing moonshot and leading Project Wing’s operations for drone delivery in Australia. With a founding team that included the CEO of Google [x] and the current CTO of the White House, she led global partnerships for we.solveforx.comand started Google’s 10x Thinking Team. Prior to Google [x], she was on Google’s New Business Development team. She launched the first local language Chrome Web Store with partners in India including the Times of India, ESPN cricinfo, Saavn, and Snapdeal. Shah studied at UPenn where she was Co-President of the Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, captained the Penn Raas Indian dance team, produced Bollywood America, and founded a startup called SkillHub. With SkillHub, she received a Global Entrepreneurship Week Award, won Mark Cuban's Movers & Changers entrepreneurship TV show, and rang the NYSE opening bell. In her free time, she enjoys serving on boards of nonprofits and doing anything DIY.

Shalini Girish
Director, Small & Medium Business, Google India 

With over 19 years of experience, Shalini has worked in Operations, Sales and Customer Support in companies like Vodafone, Genpact and Airtel. She has been a Googler for almost 10 years, all of which she has spent in the SMB business.

In 2010, Shalini moved to Brazil to set up and scale the LATAM SMB Services & Sales teams, including Vendor Operations. She spent 3 years in the region as the Director for SMB, LATAM, building and leading teams in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. In 2013, Shalini moved back to Hyderabad and took on operations as the Director for the Global Customer Experience teams that were based in India and supporting North America, AUNZ, UKI & India. About 8 months ago, she moved to Gurgaon to take on the role of Director, SMB for the India Market.

Chitra Gurjar

Chitra Gurjar served as a Director of Engineering for one of the strategic Products of NetApp. She has over 18 years of experience as both an engineer and a people manager. Chitra’s passion is in the area of Product Development.Chitra has a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and a Masters’ degree in Software Engineering. Her spare time is spent with a lot of books and playing basketball. She loves a good afternoon at the theatre when she can.

Pallavi Mahajan
Sr. Director, Engineering, Juniper Software

Pallavi Mahajan is Senior Director Engineering of Juniper’s Junos Software, responsible for driving strategy and execution for engineering functions within Junos.

Over the years, Ms. Mahajan has served Juniper in a number of roles, including defining and leading Juniper’s Software Automation and Programmability story, leading global engineering teams, and as a member of Juniper Networks India founding engineering team, where she was credited with incubating many new software teams in Juniper India. Her technical and leadership contribution include many successful Juniper products and the filing of eight patent applications (six of which have been granted).

Ms. Mahajan holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from NIT, Kurukshetra, and a Master of Science degree in Software Systems from BITS Pilani.

Madhuvanthi Ananth
Founder, SlamdunQ 

Madhu is the founder CEO of SlamdunQ. A techie at heart and sports enthusiast started SlamdunQ, in 2014 a startup focusing primarily on wearable technology for sports. SlamdunQ was selected as one of the top 5 startups in India to participate in the "Startup India" event organized by the Prime Minister's office in Jan this year. SlamdunQ has also won a lot of awards including the Best Pitch Award in the Google Launchpad event and the Best mobile application 2015 in the Google for mobile conference.

Prior to starting SlamdunQ she was a brand manager at United Spirits Limited. She handled all the digital media properties of the IPL cricket team – Royal Challengers Bangalore. Besides marketing, madhu also has a decade of IT experience. Madhu holds an MBA degree from IIM-B and BE - Computer Science from SSN engineering.

Melinda Klayman

Melinda has worked in mobile UX for 10 years. She is currently a UX Program Manager at Google, where she oversees the efforts of designers, researchers, prototypers, and writers working toward projects such as Material Design and Project Fi. She recently moved to London to coordinate research in emerging markets. As a champion for the under-represented, Melinda is one of the leaders of XX+UX and a founder of the XX+UX Mentorship Program.

Smitha Lahiri
Program Chair, Grace Hopper Conference India 

Smitha Lahiri is an experienced leader in the technology industry. Over the span of her career, she has worked across technologies and domains spanning Enterprise Applications, Telecommunications and e-Governance. During her tenure at Intel, she led the development of supply planning applications that enabled a world class supply chain at the company. She has a patent for a software framework developed for the operation and administration of Intel netstructure telecom products. Having worked in the corporate world for twenty years, she decided to reinvent herself, exploring other interests in life and alternate avenues to keep her passion for technology alive. She has been associated with the Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI) conference since its inception and has been an active member of the advisory committee for the past few years. It is her passion of to give back to the community of technical women that keeps her engaged with the cause.

Kalpana Margabandhu
Consultant and Director(Retd.), India CIO Lab and BT/IT Location Executive, IBM India 

Kalpana has 33 years of industry experience and has been with IBM for the last 22 years. Prior to retirement was leading Innovations projects Worldwide in the area of Systems of Insights and Watson, for CIO Lab and also acting as the Location Executive for the Business Transformation and IT team. Prior to this role, she has been with India Software Lab(ISL) (since its inception in 2001) and have played key business and technical leadership roles across functions in growing the lab to its current level. Also served on the Board of IBM India
