  • Research Strategy

    It is easy to search MSUM's Livingston Lord Library using the drop-down location menu in MnPALS Plus.  Livingston Library is located only six blocks from Concordia and your student ID works there exactly as it does here.  If you do walk over and check out MSUM's library, you may return any items you borrow there, at the Carl B. Ylvisaker Library.  If you have enough time, you may also use inter- library loan and our Tri-College shuttle will deliver books here to your home campus.

  • ArtSTOR
    A digital library of more than one million images, ArtSTOR includes items in the arts, architecture, humanities, and social sciences.  In addition, it provides a suite of software tools to view, present, and manage images for research and pedagogical purposes.
  • Films on Demand
    A streaming video collection created by Films for the Humanities & Sciences (FFH&S).  This collection includes many academic and educational programs on a wide variety of topics.
  • PBS Video
    On PBS Video, you can watch award-winning national programming and locally produced shows with one click.  Watch renowned programs such as FRONTLINE, American Masters, NOVA, and others.
  • TED:  Ideas Worth Spreading
    Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world.  TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading.  It started out as a conference bringing together people from the technology, entertainment, and design worlds.  Since 1984, its has expanded to include the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Project and Open TV Project, the inspiring TED Fellows and TEDx programs, and the annual TED Prize.
