The adjustable material support positioned directly next to the cutting point effectively prevents the material from slipping down.
 
The slide, with its large material platform, is made of anodised aluminium and is kept running smoothly by the slide guide inside the machine housing. The rear slide panel is equipped with a wide hand guard. The guard plate (with detachable remnant holder) is made of fracture-proof, transparent food-safe plastic.
