Welcome!

Welcome to InterVarsity Christian Fellowship!

InterVarsity is an open group of college students from both universities eager to learn more about God...together.  Many love our Small Groups - a place to make friends, have engaging and applicable Bible studies, and together do community service and outreaches. We also organize fun events like hiking, apple picking, LachFest, skating in Lake Placid, and bowling competitions.  Perhaps we're becoming best known on campus as the group that sponsors Photo Scavenger Hunts every semester as a way to raise awareness and money for local charities.  Our group is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about Jesus and making new friends! So please check out the rest of the website to find times and locations for meetings and events.

New York City Urban Project (NYCUP)
Have you been feeling confused, disillusioned, or concerned by injustice you see in the world around us? Maybe you have a different reaction, or maybe you don’t see injustice and want to learn what God’s word teaches us about His heart for the oppressed. Wherever you are, it can be frustrating to feel like there’s nothing you can do to make a difference. If this is you, we encourage you to consider spending your spring break at NYCUP!

InterVarsity's New York City Urban Project (NYCUP) develops leaders with the character and capacity to change the world. NYC is our world-class classroom to inform, inspire, and equip students to engage and act against injustice by joining God in the renewal of all things. Participants obtain practical steps to integrate biblical justice, stewardship and spiritual formation into their personal lives and the fabric of their campus, vocation and community around them.

The five focuses of NYCUP are whole life stewardship, biblical justice, spiritual formation, evangelism, and leadership development. Contact Melanie Cockrell (cockremg@clarkson.edu) for more information and with any questions! Relay for Life Relay for Life is a national event that benefits the American Cancer Society by collecting funds for caregivers, research, housing for patients and much more. At SUNY Potsdam Relay for Life is taking place on April 28-29 from 6pm-6am. (Don't worry, there will be plenty to do to keep you awake! i.e. ice skating, zumba, performances, etc.) The theme this year is Dr. Suess! InterVarsity has been participating in this week’s Jar Wars (and with just one day left, we’re in First Place!!) and we would like to have a huge presence at Relay for Life. There we will make connections with people who have been affected by cancer and learn more about how we can fight back against cancer. If you would like to sign up for this unforgettable event click here. Registration is $10 until April 1. After this the price will be $20. Basileia - May 19-25! Registration is LIVE!!! Basileia is a week-long, multi-track conference designed so that everyone from our campuses can attend and benefit. Some tracks emphasize leadership training, others Christian discipleship, and others - faith exploration. For all, Basileia is a time to focus on God, spend time in the Bible, deepen your faith, and expand your vision for your life. Check out this promo video, set aside May 19-25, and plan to join us as our chapter experiences together Basileia ‘17! NEXT week, at our March 3 Large Group, we will have a group Basileia sign-up session. Another Summer Job Option Hello! My name is Kacey and I work at Camp Orchard Hill! We are a Christian camp located in Dallas, PA (northeastern Pennsylvania). I’m messaging you today because we are currently looking to hire college aged people who are excited about sharing the Gospel with youth in a summer camp setting. We are hiring these people as counselors into both our overnight and day camp programs. I’m hoping you would be able to share this information with the students in your organization. If there is anyone interested in this opportunity, or has any questions, you can direct them to our website www.camporchardhill.com or to my email (kacey@camporchardhill.com). Thanks in advance for helping us to extend our ministry! Finally, if you’re still reading this hit reply and let us know for a chance to win a copy of the book, A Case for Christ. (The first person to reply wins the book.)

We really hope to see you at Large Group tomorrow night!
