April 4th, Read will be hosting our last American Red Cross blood drive of the year in the Landes lounge. Please come out and donate!
School is back in session, and Read Student Government is ready to hit the ground running. Keep checking back for more updates on some really great programs and initiatives that we've got in store for 2011!
It's time to get this petition passed! Sign the IU Green Initiative Fund petition online. By signing, you are NOT obligated in any way. You're not making a donation, you won't get any emails--no strings attached, just a better IU. Send this link to your friends, and then you'll be able to say you did something great for IU once this fund gets approved.
Be on the lookout for the Green Initiative Fund Signature Campaign! This campaign is to get an optional check box on the student center class registration page. This would allow students to donate a small amount to a sustainability fund that would devote the funds to making IU Bloomington more sustainable. By signing the campaign, you are NOT donating any money. It's a great cause and it only takes a few seconds!
Read, a.k.a. The Best Res Hall Ever for Performing Arts Students, is holding a coffeehouse in the Center Lobby from 7-9 on November 11. Performing acts from all over Read will be showing off their talents to the delicious aroma of coffee wafting through the lobby. Come check it out!
Sponsored by the Student Government Social Events Committee.
The second issue of Read's top-notch newsletter, The Reader, will be distributed around Read tomorrow. Check out some great stories and articles and a fabulous picture of your Student Government Executives!
