Initiative for the Theoretical Sciences

The Initiative for the Theoretical Sciences (ITS @ the Graduate Center) provides a home for theoretical research in the sciences, cutting across a wide range of subjects but unified by the search for a mathematical description of the world around us. Programs for Fall 2011 include workshops, seminars, and public events; please follow the links at left for more information.

All events will be held at The Graduate Center of the City University of NewYork, 365 Fifth Ave., between 34th and 35th Sts, in Manhattan. We are located within convenient walking distance of several subway lines and buses, as well as Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal.
