Session Description
This session addresses start-up issues for your program, such as source of content, staffing and professional development, technology, quality issues and other features.
Participant Objectives:
Develop a story describing the “why” of learning in a digital setting.
Distinguish between the types of digital learning settings.
Identify quality issues that are important to their students and program success.
Determine the source of course content and state reasons for selection.
Construct functional specifications for technologies from the quality issues and needs of their programs.
Outline staffing and professional development requirements of their programs.
Outline essentials for an RFP for digital learning.
Identify policy issues that affect their program.
Identify key support systems for their programs.
