Learn to use the iPad 2 across the curriculum for productivity, creativity, and multimedia production as well as curricular-area integration.

Workshop Description: The purpose of this session is to explore the possibilities of new and emerging technologies, i.e. the toolkit that iPad brings to the classroom curriculum for productivity and creativity. In this hands-on workshop, we will showcase how to use the iPad to turn your classroom into an engaging learning environment with access to rich media resources and multimedia creation tools. The covered topics include how to integrate this amazing resource in math, language arts, social studies and science classrooms. We will discuss classroom management strategies, applications across the curriculum, and apps to use for creativity, productivity, publishing and more. Participants will learn how to use this media-rich resource effectively with students it the classroom. We will explore the wealth of apps that are available to integrate across the curriculum for student publication and creativity.

The iPad 2 brings interactive learning and a set of curriculum resources to all learners. Discover the possibilities of learning in all areas of the curriculum.

Bring your iPad to this hands-on, interactive workshop as together we explore some of the best applications for use in elementary curriculum. This hands-on "bring your own device" workshop will provide opportunities for hands-on access to learning resources and best practice in elementary classrooms.

 

The workshop will showcase how to use the iPad to turn your classroom into an engaging learning environment and discuss ways to bring its interactive applications into the classroom. The covered topics include how to integrate this amazing resource in math, language arts, social studies and science classrooms and to integrate creativity and productivity tools across the curriculum.  Participants will learn how to use this media-rich resource effectively with students it the classroom.
